Weeks 1–6Regular season — single round robin, one game per team per week
Week 7Playoffs Round 1 — all 6 teams play, seeded by regular season record
Week 8Championship — the top remaining seed byes into the final; the other two Week 7 winners play first to earn their spot

Good Questions

What makes this different from a normal league?

Well, it's street soccer under the lights in a parking lot at a cidery. Music, food, $5 cider pours for players, and patio hangs. Come for the footy, stay for the community.

I don't have a full team — can I still play?

You don't need a full team lined up to register. Start a team as captain and send teammates an invite link to pay for their own spot, prepay the whole roster yourself (5–8 players, including at least 1 female player), or skip organizing one entirely and join as a free agent — we'll place you on a roster with an open spot.

What level of competition is this?

Open competition — but it's street soccer, so expect some moves to get busted out. Come ready to compete, just don't be surprised by a nutmeg or two.

How can I find players?

Join the Waldy Street League Chat and Bare Bones Whatsapp community — it's the easiest way to link up with other players looking for a team. Or if you'd rather not organize a team yourself, join as a free agent and we'll place you on a team with an open spot.

What if it rains?

Games go on unless conditions are unsafe — we'll post any changes to the WhatsApp group and Instagram. We'll also work to reschedule with teams if a game gets called.

What's your refund policy?

No refunds once the season starts, unless the league disbands or internal player issue resolved with league admin.

Do we need to bring anything?

Flats or indoor soccer shoes only (no cleats or turf shoes) — we'll cover the rest. Bare Bones pinnies provided.
